On ne se rappelle plus tr\u00e8s bien de <strong>Plein Soleil<\/strong> (1960), mais la vision concomitante du magnifique <strong>Ripley <\/strong>de Netflix (2024) et le rattrapage du <strong>Talentueux Monsieur Ripley<\/strong>, d\u2019Anthony Minghella (1999) rappellent ce talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paradoxalement, le cin\u00e9aste du <strong>Patient Anglais<\/strong> arrive \u00e0 g\u00e9rer en deux heures plus de personnages que la s\u00e9rie en huit, avec l\u2019aide d\u2019un gros casting (Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, Cate Blanchett).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais le film est dat\u00e9, hollywoodien, et tient moins la rampe que l\u2019\u00e9quivalent s\u00e9riel de Steven Zaillian, qui se concentre seulement sur le trio Ripley\/Marge\/Dickie, et est glac\u00e9 d\u2019un noir et blanc somptueux sign\u00e9 Robert Elswit, le chef op\u2019 de quelques broutilles*&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>* Boogie Nights, Demain ne meurt jamais, Magnolia, Syriana, There Will Be Blood, Loin de la terre br\u00fbl\u00e9e, The Town, Mission impossible : Protocole Fant\u00f4me\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le roman de Patricia Highsmith doit \u00eatre tr\u00e8s bon pour produire \u00e0 chaque fois d&rsquo;excellents produits cin\u00e9matographiques.
